More Grimdark Future stuff, this time the TAO Coalition.

The Tau have always been my favorite in Warhammer 40k--when my dad first brought me to a Games Workshop store, I instantly fell in love with their slick armor and mix of alien species. I also always loved that they felt like the closest thing to a "good guy" faction in Warhammer. Then it turned out they had definitely totally been super dark and edgy the entire time and all the good guy stuff was just a facade.

That's what I like about Grimdark Future: I'm allowed to interpret the TAO however I like, which means that they definitely totally actually are the good guys.

These two were heavily based on reference pictures. The TAO Grunt (on the left) was based mainly off of a Tau Fire Warrior, while the Battlesuit (big guy on the right) is from a picture in the Grimdark Future rulebook.
