Not that hard, but to achieve your goal you'll probably have to get rid of 3/4 of your brain, according to all the musical jokes. If you wanna keep at least hal of your brain, consider playing bass instead. ^^

But let's start from the begining. I like all of your works (oprocz jednej. Ale tylko jednej), truthfully: I always was jealous a bit that you create so gloriouses works durant I by most of the time have no idea what to draw. Technically it's very good: the light: me gusta, the shadows: me gusta, colors used: me gusta, face of pony... Okay, here'll be "no me gusta", but if we take a look on whole of ur work here I'll be able to say: "me encanta!".
And relax, lol. What'll happen to you if these "hipocrites" (do you know exactly what "hipocrite" means? Somebody who talks by this way, and does by other way. F ex. I'd speek here that I've never met you and I hate you during both of us know that this isn't the truth

I love the contrast in this picture. But there's one thing that bothers me. It looks like the light comes from behind the pony, and everything is shaded according to this fact except the wing. I'd suggest you shade the middle parts of the feathers, make the edges lighter and add some glow efect like on the hair or foreleg.

To be honest, I don't even know where the light comes from. That's how it comes out when I draw the background last...

I usually try to think of one light direction when I do the shading, and then I try to do the background accordingly. Sometimes I place the shadows randomly, but this usually doesn't end well.
