Description It's been a while!

Everyone thanks again for all the comments, faves, llamas and watches I really appreciate it. I am still trying to get all through the messages so please be patient I will get through all of it soon

I have been watching the new Thundercats lately and I am really loving it so I decided to do some fan art in between client work to help keep me sane. I started off with my version of Panthro so here it is guys

Awesome!   I really wish that toon had stuck around.  My whole family watched it from the 2 year old girl to my 72 year old dad. I love this realistic look!  I'd love to see them all like this (I'll keep perusing your gallery in case you did more).
Keep up the great work, even if network execs are too stupid to know when something is done right.

You are referring to the updated Thundercats that is not from the 80s right? Yeah I was really getting into that show, I loved how the stories were progressing and the character designs. Hopefully there is a chance to continue it in the future.

This is great and gives the viewer, and Tcat fan, a great sneak peek at how intense the tcats could look and exist physically say in a live action movie. I like the scars and extra details. The eyes are amazing.

Fantastic!

I like that - there is a bloke here who is doing his own interperatations of He-Man. I know it sounds wierd and even stupid, but you must see the art!!!! He has transformed the story and made it look meaty!

Hell, even Orco looks brilliant!

I like this stuff - a case of when creative people get behind something of their childhood or what they grew up with and loved the idea but there is that nagging "Something is missing" feeling and show those who ran with it how to make it BETTER!!!!!

Your Panthro is the business - he looks like a real warrior, a fighter, but a thinker and I can see this in a film. Here he is a proper character and the possibility of a thundercat movie is strong with this!

You are right with the 'nagging....' comment. I still love the old series and the new one but I think most people specially other artist would have their own versions in mind and one of the reasons I am doing this is sort of my wish list on how I would want them to look like in a live action movie.
They look great to me in the cartoons and I really enjoy them, I just feel they wouldn't translate well in a live action movie because if you follow them too closely they would almost look like just humans with face paint on.

Check out his Villains and Man-E-Faces - just blew me away that did.

To be honest what you have done is a way of a re-imagining - and one done right.

The way Cheetara and Panthro are done look like remnants of a genetic experiment that went wrong on Earth, and a Nu Earth has come to pass, with these beings establishing the next phase of life on Nu Earth - think Planet of the Apes (the original). Makes sense about the villains too - I mean Slithe, half cat and Lizard?

BTW love to see how you do him!!

May sound bullshit but looking at them they look solid, no-nonsense, intellgently thought.

Seriously and I am not taking the piss, if they ever did a film they should look at these fabulous drawings.

wooooa~ thats awesome. ive never watched thundercats but this is awesome.. besides the obvious detail and lighting ect that i like, something that really stands out to me is the way youve created depth.. which is very effective. i hate using the blur tool, but this is really cool 10 points!
