It seems to be a pretty violent series but I read up on the dude and he’s fairly peaceful if you’re not threatening him.

That's right, he's basically a space cop. Off-duty, or even on duty when nothing serious is happening he's pretty chill (sorry) and a peaceful guy who definitely doesn't want to pick fights, but he's 100% willing to get bloody and violent to get the job done and prevent powerful technology from falling into the wrong hands.

*Shrug* I don't really know, I only read wiki summaries on the series to get a handle on his personality and the commissioner gave me the okay for the flower bit. The content made it seem like he's more than a little passively friendly but not hesitant when it comes to defending himself.

Because from what I understood of the character, he is primarily a friendly person forced into violent situations and would probably prefer amicable communication over force. I never played the games and the commissioner had no problem letting me put it there so
