Description
An all edible grand piano.Tomorrow my friends and I'll go to a concert of Wibi Soerjadi (the best Dutch pianist I know).
So we'll try to give him this little piano cake as a gift.

My last fondant adventure failed big time, I think I'd need a lot more practice before I'd be able to make a cake like this!

Fondant is just like claying, so it hardly can go wrong.

I failed before I even managed to make the fondant. I was using a recipe with corn syrup and tried to make sugar syrup (no corn syrup in Germany) but that didn't work out. I have another recipe now though that should work so I'll definitely try again!

Mhmm, fondant is very tricky to make.
So you might better go to a bakery store and buy a package.
If you do, buy white since you can colour it.
Though if you need red or black, buy those too, since you can't colour it bright red or dark black, because it'll need so much colouring it will leak on your fingers.

I didn't know where to find it either, but when I started looking for it I found more then 3 stores pretty close to my home

Spontan fällt mir Heinemann ein, ob die sowas verkaufen würden oder ne andere Konditorei? Auf der Nordstraße in Ddorf gibts eine, die stellen zumindest Torten damit her. Hans-Georg Kaussen Nordstraße 89 40477 Düsseldorf Oder sie können Dir zumidnest sagen, wo sie es herbeziehen, wenn sie es nicht selbst herstellen
