That's awesome that you have rescued all of your cats!
All of my cats have been rescues, too. My black tom must have been abandoned; I found him skin and bones in the back of a parking lot trying to eat melted lollipops off the pavement. I called to him, gave him some cat food, and he practically jumped into my arms! Didn't mind riding home in the back of my car with me, either.
The funniest, or maybe saddest, thing my black cat did was get between my mother and I and the door when we wanted to leave the house. He would fight us tooth and claw to try and get us to stay, like he was terrified we would never return. He calmed down a bit after a while, but still to this day follows us everywhere and despised closed doors.

I had a cat named Skittles who acted like that. She passed away when I was 10. We rescued her too. Someone dropped her off at the chicken factory my step dad worked at. Him and the guys watched the person throw her out of their truck.
