Question! What stabiliser setting do you use for your lines?
I find it difficult to find the right setting that allows me to do smooth lines without having to redraw a single line sixty times because it's over lapping.

Like Azafreal said, i used to use 15, but now I use 9 or 12 depending on my mood :3

On their previous brush settings image, they have stated in the description that they use 15 for their stabilizer. Whether or not that is the case now (since that image was submitted in 2013), I have no idea, but it does give you something to start with.

how do you get the brush "shapes" (I dont really know how to describe them) to be cleared/grey? Im talking about the little rectangle right under the tool box? sorry if this is confusing lmao

Do you mean the blank brush boxes? Those are just...empty. If you scroll down in that box, you go down to empty ones. You right click on one of the cleared/gray boxes to add a brush.

no i mean underneath the tool box, there is a small rectangle with the shapes of the brushes (it goes from skinny to square)

AHHHH. I see what you mean!
Fiddling around with my own SAI, it appears that depends on the type of brush used. If I switch it to anything "bristle" those tip options gray out.

What size canvas do you work on when starting a piece?
