My 308 Cetme rifle. (Don't call it an assault weapon, its not full auto, only media and children mistake rifles with assault weapons to demonize them.)It has the bayonet lug sticking out above the barrel with custom painted magazine and handle.
The German G3 was based on this, and the engineers that made the WWII German STG44 based the CETME after it when hiredby the Spanish to develop it.
Not a great gun when you compare it to my DPMS LR308, but for $400 i'm not going to complain. I have 20 and 40rnd magazines for it, a bayonet, a ton of magazines and whatnot for it.
A useful long range Zombie rifle.

Where did you find a 40 round magazine? I recall seeing some South African 30 rnd ones but never that size. im prety sure itz called a clip, dawg

Thanks! The Cetme is a good inexpensive .308 rifle, I prefer my DPMS LR308 [link] but the CETME has a post WWII sorta charm.

I feel for you brother, It's really heart breaking hearing whats become of the UK....
It's surreal, how things have become that way.
I hear it's against the law to defend your self if a rapist breaks into ones house there.
I even heard how and old woman was arrested for hitting an intruder with a bat. It's not fair, I know...

No the CETME was the basis for the G3 rifle, The Cetme Model B was what the Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle was based upon.
The G3 was developed 1950s by the German armament manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) in collaboration with the Spanish state-owned design and development agency CETME (Centro de Estudios TΓ©cnicos de Materiales Especiales). The engineer was a German though.
The CETME/G3 are almost the same gun, imagine the CETME as a Vietnam era M16 next to an M4. Many of the parts are interchangeable. I've used 40 round G# mags in my CETME without problems.
