I felt that I haven't been completely upfront about what about what Meteor Storm is about, so the beginning of chapter 1 seems as good a time as any to address this.

The Synopsis:

Meteor Storm is a Action/Adventure/Comedy (kind of like a shonen Manga/Anime) Where a group of young adults try to prevent the fortold absolute destruction of the planet by keep the power of a strange gem-like meteor out of the hands of mandkind, who are already teetering on the brink of chaos due to an ongoing war.

For a comparison, its kind of like a "Inuyasha" meets "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" sort of deal.
