Description i left cardboards for a while and did
some sketches, like this one. In
C64 style ofcourse.

and, well, I've got nothing to say about it, but
listen this one:

my sister came back from school while I
was doing some sandwiches. And she told
me about her friend from highschool - some
girl who can draw quite good. And this girl
was drawing some fruits while lessons passin'
and those fruits had personalities or something,
like satanistic banana or stuff like this,
and Kate - my sister (mi hermana!) said:
"hey, draw some 'homie'! " and this girl
drawn smiled tomato who's saying "bounce, Bitch!"

I'm confused

And I don't know why I;m telling this, probably
I can't stand this story by myself. Help me...

I like this picture, it has a strong melancholic mood and the figures in the dark are really expressive. It doesn't really need anything more, things in the dark look very simplified and shifting anyway. The subtle changes between light blue and white are also pleasant. You should try drawing more just like this, imo. ^___^

Do you draw comics?

Thank you, mate. That's hell of a kind words
for me Thank You.

In fact, I've tried to draw some comics but
it seems I'm too lazy I love comics, I
have a collection of classics, I love to
draw, but yet... my laizyness stil handicapted
me

Thank You once again

Thehe. ^^ You're welcome.

Oh. I can understand, though. I've always wanted to draw a comic, too, but I've got the same problem.

Though, maybe you could try something unorthodox, like a simplified messy style, make short surrealistic comics or let someone else write the synopsis...

You're welcome once again. ^^

And very sad... I haven't been
looking on this picture for long
time, and yet I'm confused about
how sad it is. I have to look closely
on my gallery. Is it all as sad?

But anyway, I like this one a lot
also. Thank You, mate

ItΒ΄s sad but in weird kinda confortable and enjoyable way. Like when you sit inside and its pouring rain outside and you feel blue but happy at the sametime. Or when everything is shit you suddenly find you self ridiculously happy cos being that lonely and sad makes you feel well...melancholic? Dunno.

This is awesome. I am always impressed by the fact that you grasp depth and even lens curve really well, but use flat images for emotional effect anyway. This is very cool, everything you draw is like it was taken from a finished comic. Keep it up.

comic... yes... I Curse my lazyness!
it was just quick sketch but become one of my
favourite works i think.
Maybe I should publish just the artbook, without doing comics first At the end there's some stories behind those pictures probably, which people can tell by theirselfs

Thank You!

Ha ha, just get one of your buddies and take a few days to go over your drawings and bring a story out of them, then draw some filler panels and your good to go!

thank You, mate. It's always great plesure for me
to hear that there are some emotions in my drawings. It's all I want from my pics probably
And thank You for 'favourit' also.

Mnesimache In reply to vladder [2007-09-21 22:23:54 +0000 UTC]

I think a picture like this exudes a whole torrent of feelings and emotions. It's clear you've not just slapped random things together and put it up to get 39489214914141490 faves and comments. The little details around the bath-tub, the bare, naked bulb, the incessant rain - it all adds to a sense of feeling that really draws the viewer in.

The way that the figure hugs themselves, you get the feeling that it's not just against the cold...

vladder In reply to Mnesimache [2007-09-21 22:41:36 +0000 UTC]

Thank You... it's funny, but also great, when
You just draw and unvoluntarily put some
emotion stuff into picture, which is not clear
to You at first, but other people can see it at
first look.
Once again, thank You, mate

Mnesimache In reply to vladder [2007-09-21 22:46:18 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yeah, I know what you mean. With some of my writing, people point out ideas and themes which seem obvious to them, but which I hadn't considered. I think Freddie Mercury once said "If you see it, darling, it's there." - everybody sees a picture and brings different things to it, making a completely different interpretation that's entirely unique, I think.
