My entrie for 's Emotins contest
I choosed the emtion pain, hurt, sadness, anything unpleasant o_o
Although I hope that's clear without explaining it :'D
When I was young my friends didn't seem to understand why I would draw a character wth a sad expression. The characters I used to draw always looked happy. However, I think a sad expression can make a drawing beautiful! Even though the emotion is 'negative' it can give the drawing such a ' positive' thouch.
... I hope I don't sound emo right now xD
I'm affraid the drawing turned out very creepy though. My parents said it was a scary drawing >.> Bu I guess that fits the emotion? At least I hope so...
I didn't use a reference so I hope the face looks alright. It kind of was a hard pose to draw, especially the nose!

Just like the rest of your work, this is gorgeous! And I love how you're so open to different styles- the variety definitely spices up your gallery and shows your improvement as an artist. Anyways, without comparing this to any of your work as far as style, this is really beautiful
And the shadows and depth are drawn out beautifully; I really love the style that you used for this! Creepy or not, I think this is definitely suitable for what you were trying to portray and the fact that it portrays so much emotion is amazing! It's easily recognizable that you went for a 'less pleasant' emotion, and that easily reflects the atmosphere that you portrayed and the expression you portrayed on the character's face. The strokes there are absolutely gorgeous by the way- the fact that you did that without reference is really impressive! And the black tears.. they're a nice final touch as well; they really add to the drawing, I think! Just like the rest of your work, this is seriously beautiful!
