Absolutely cool drawing! Don't know why others have a problem with small people but it fits perfectly.
Only negitive thing I would say is that her hands should be gripping the mane, and maybe the mane a big fuller as if spreading back against the rider. But then, that's just me.

the grass is just a mix of the PS grass brush and some random coloring over the top, and then more randomness with the dogde and burn tools
