Interesting but I don't know what to think of Spinosaurines now. On Facebook, Tracy Ford said the Ibrahim reconstruction was "crap" and he knows of other material. Β Also Ichthyovenator is now probably a Spinosaurine and has a normal pelvis. But Ibrahim et al. are confident about the fact that their specimen is one individual and insist that "Spinosaurus B" is a second Spinosaurus specimen with short hind legs. Sigh.....Β
If Tracy Ford is correct, does that mean that there are two Spinosaurus' or that the "neotype" is a chimera?

Well, if the neotype is a chimera, it probably consists of two spinosaurs, and if it consists of two spinosaurs, it's a chimera.

By "two Spinosaurus'" I meant "the 'neotype and the holotype are different taxa".

Most amusing backstory for the naming of that dinosaur.
