<--my unbiased opinion. This is ~55% actual size! Even though I didn't listen to it until I was 60% done, the overture for Jacquou le Croquant by Laurent Boutonnat is exactly the kind of music I want for my Musketeer Girl.
(No, I don't understand French, but I learned that online translators do a decent job of translating from French to Spanish. ^^)
...Yeah, she is a girl, not some girly boy. >:[
So elated that I'm done. I learned a ton from this.
Now on to other projects~

Addendum: Perspective is shot to hell in this one. Will do better on the next...hopefully.
More post-work agony I could do without: TREE FAIL. Perhaps the next topic of study.

Interesting idea, but kind of odd that the bird is prettier than the girl. I would personally paint it to draw attention to both the person and the bird.

Haha, well, I can only say that the disparity between the quality of the bird and the girl were a function of my limited artistic ability, not so much a deliberate choice.

You right about the fullveiw, it looks nice here but downloading it shows so much more detail and color. Man I wish I was looking at this on the macs over at the college. The resolutions on those computers are so much better then my laptop D:.
