Here I tried to picture them several years in their togetherness.. ^^

^^ Yes, they look quite happy indeed! This looks very proffesional in my opinion, like something out of an artbook... But - I have one question:

How did you get the colors to blend together so well?! I realize you used water color pencils - so how did you get the skin tone to blend in so perfectly?

hee..glad you agree with me
about the colouring.. the skin and other parts are using the same way.
just coloured it like using pencil colour, then add the water (with brush..off course)..
wait till it dry, then do the pencil colouring again to add the shadow / darken effect.
then add the water again..

btw, I forgot this : for very first, before you colour your pic, please add water all over the paper's surface.
no need too much, just be sure it's wet. then wait till dry, and you can go with colouring ^_^
this step is very helpful when you use any colouring stuff that need water, like watercolour pencils & poster colour
