Description At 510mm x 325mm this is one of the largest drawing I have ever drawn. It started off as something completely different with lots of faces but then I turned in through 90ΒΊ and started drawing the mountains, and this is how it turned out.

Brilliant composition; it looks exploring... especially in the mid-north section.

I just love it when something being created takes on a life of its own!
Excellent work.

It directed me, not the other way round!

WOW interesting use of line as well as volume. Also the little hillside with plants and games, very cool!

I'm looking at my oversized drawing board. It looks very bare now I have finished, and I'm thinking shall I or shan't I? More massive masterpieces make minds meld mightily!

Good job you have all those extra dimensions hideen under your carpets and stuff - you'll be needing the space

Actually I saw your small, circular drawing you did with Sal, earlier today on FB and it has inspired me to try drawing a tiddler.

Go for it! Ever tried ACEO cards? 2.5 by 3.5 inches. They're a lot of fun ^^

Just googled ACEO cards and YES that does seem to be the route I should be heading. If I can master that format, when I choose to go larger it should definitely produce a lot of improvement!

Well they are made for trading, so anytime you want to do an ACEO trade, ya know where i am ^_^

An easy mistake to make. This was essentially two different drawings 'melded' together. I am really glad you find it crazy and wonderful.

This is absolutely crazy and wonderful!
Seems to me that you have used 2 different styles (or maybe you've completed it in two distinct temporal phases) and also the angles of the top and bottom look different ...well...like a self collaboration.
Fantastic work!

Gives a feeling of confusion and closure, i reassured this feeling when i saw the mazes in the lower part of the picture.

Great work.

I have to confess I didn't set out to 'build' any kind of feeling. This is the result of the drawing 'directing' me not the other way round. It often works that way, I find. Thanks for your kind comment.
