Polaroid sx-70sx-70 blend film
Taken in February 08 in a huge psychiatric facility on the hills behind Genova.
There are plans to demolish all the buildings (more than 30 pavillons) and build condos or god knows what.
Then there will be no memories of this place.

Lovely polaroid. The jacket adds so much to it, it seems to emphasis the feeling of the memories abandoned buildings hold.

the noticeable thing here is that the coat is turned away from the light..accentuating the shadow memories of what once was..

I have a weekend trip 8 hour drive to see a building before it gets demolished.

when you're not able to give memory a value anymore it means something has been broken forever...
but not only they are demolishing everything in the city, they are also ruining all the countryside by building everywhere horrendous little houses painted with stupid acrylic colors that are completely out of contest...fuck

..yeah I have no idea.. near where I work sometimes, there's a condo and I know it's mostly all old folks who live there.. but aside from that, I dun't know. there's no more room, so they build up; fucking one after the next like there's no tomorrow..
