Ah, finally more art! haha! It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, I send out my deepest apologies. It's been crazy, and I haven't been able to get quite motivated enough. IT'S A BIG HUGE CASE OF ART BLOCK, I SWEAR!

Anyways, we just began watercolour in my art class, so I have managed to do a handful of small watercolour paintings before starting on my actual project. I'll be uploading the other paintings sometime later.

Also, I suppose this is worth mentioning, I got my wonderful little scanner re-installed on my new computer! Be expecting more traditional art than digital for a time while I can get myself re-motivated. And thanks in advance for all of your patience.

Ah, but I haven't talked any of the painting! So, yes, this is a Chikorita 'waking from winter' and I hope it's evident that she's yawning. So with spring here, I felt the need to do a transition picture. I had lots of fun experimenting with the watercolour, though it was difficult getting the correct shade of green for her. I hope you guys think she turned out alright, and any critique is always welcomed!

Materials Used: Watercolour paper, watercolours, various sized brushes
Time Spent: approx. 30min
