Plus your birthday always gives me the perfect excuse to paint a furret. This time with a trilby hat. I do so love hats. And furrets. And painting.

I was quite happy with the way this turned out; sure, there could probably be more contrast, or I could have painted a proper background, but I thought the lighting was pretty good, the pose was fluid, the textures all turned out good, and the palette worked... But, ah! What am I saying! I'm glad you like it!
I also want to thank you for accidentally introducing me to this brush setting. It's absolutely marvelous for blending and texture.
Anyways, yes, they'll only get better I would think as the years go by. Onward, I say, to further improvement!
