This was SUPPOSED to be colored, really, it was. D: While I was working on it, my power went out, and all that was left was the lineart. I didn't have the heart to color it again...Like I promised, it features Axel and Roxas (as well as Xion), in minor roles.
Obviously, this is AU. But I imagine that, if both Axel and Aqua could have heard Ven and Roxas, and if Aqua had the chance to meet Axel, this totally would have happened. Does anyone else want to give Axel a hug? <3
I would like to give my friend Jovan a shout out for helping me name this Aquward Moment! He originally suggested "One is the Loneliest Number" but quickly changed his mind. XD

I'm guessing the only reason he doesn't think Aqua's as pretty or whatever as Aurora is because he sees her as more of a big sister/mother-type figure.

Well, I can sympathise a bit with Roxas: Axel did hide a lot of things from him like Xion's origins and refused to answer to his questions. Well, for Ven... maybe he was just talking about Aurora's light or hit puberty only after he began his journey and Aqua was more like a big sister to him.

Maybe someone was able to fill her in on the information? XD But you have a point with her leaving Ven! If she knew that he'd be alright, maybe it was women's intuition that alerted her to the whole Roxas thing. Or maybe she saw him? Lol.
