One of the few people to ever catch him stealing. Shane has his respect and more as the other took him in even though he had stolen from him. They act very much like brothers and have each other’s back. Grendel enjoys working and living with Shane and keeps his thievery impulses away from Shane’s business.

Grendel ran into Monster purely by accident after a heist. Much scrabbling and excuses later, he managed to run off. The first time in his life where he was super embarrassed and couldn’t get his shit together. He is currently in hard denial over the super attraction he has to Monster. He kind of lost his cell phone when they met and he suspects Monster may have it but hasn’t worked up enough nerve to track it down. His weird dreams about the other MTT are not helping matters.

Grendel briefly went to school with Boah. Boah helped Grendel steal some food from the cafeteria one time by acting as a decoy. Grendel didn’t realize Boah was blind at the time so he appreciated the gesture when he learned about it after.

He finds Magpie’s colors intriguing. [he may have a color type preference.] He is aware of other thief as well as you gotta know who is the business. Grendel is just nosey and doesn’t much care for competition since the city is huge after all. He shares a mixture of curiosity/envy much like how he views Serrure.

He has heard of the colorful MTT that steals things. He is on one hand curious as other thieves always interest him. The other hand jealous because they seem much more successful thought he fails to account for their ages and numbers. He sees their success as something to strive for in his profession.

Grendel knows him through Shane talking about it him. He thinks they are rather sketchy but potentially have useful info. He’d much rather look up information on his own then go and ask though. He doesn’t want to owe Peridot any favors.

Background:
Grendel doesn't who or what his family was. His earliest memories are of being on his own. He doesn't really care about being abandoned as he doesn't recall anything about his parents. He spent a brief stint in an orphanage and attended school for awhile. He found more interest in stealing things and hacking so he eventually dropped out of school and left 'ran away' from the orphanage. He took well to being a street rat as his small size and ability to blend into a crowd helped a lot. Only recently was he caught stealing by Shane Blackwood when he was trying to steal something from the courier. He was surprised when Shane didn't take the typical actions against him instead calling him out on being a poor thief and saying he owed him. He stuck around to owe the other back as the whole notion was silly but found he liked living with the other. Both their professions were similar and they got along despite their beginnings. He officially lives with Shane now and holds the other in high respect as he is one of the few to catch him.
Personality:
If he's working or wary, he tends to be silent and unnoticeable. He uses his small size to his advantage in this regard.
When he is at home or relaxed, he is inquisitive and all up in your personal space. He is rather active and prone to shifting around a lot even if he doesn't have anything to do. He often tends to flop on Shane or just be a general nuisance to the older male. They regularly get into mock fights over dumb things. He has the typical untrusting orphan thing going on for everyone else. This is worse when he steals things and if he gets away with it, there isn't a lot of respect for whoever he has stolen from.
**Note**
His behaviour is different when he uses his MTT form. He knows he is a lot bigger and takes full advantage of this. He tends to be intimidating and aggressive in his form. He uses it as back up and is quite proficient at fighting in this form. He puts into practice some of the parkour skills that he learned from Shane when running in this form.
