Hawkeye makes a good point because, I don't recall an instance where the Hulk eats... anything, and "Super Hero Squad" doesn't count.This is the first time I've noticed this. For all I know, this has probably happened in the comics already.
Seen Bruce Banner eat plenty of times, but not the Hulk. I have "The Avengers" on DVD. In that movie, Stark and Banner share a bag of nuts and after the credits, they're all eating Shwarma.
I don't know what that is either.
I wonder how long it would take a Marvel comics nerd to see this and confirm this.

The image came from a scan of a comic I got from work: Marvel's The Avengers - 14th edition. These comics appear at work like once a year. We just hand them out to all the customers and its a good way to distract screaming children when the situation calls for it.
I don't think I have to tell you who's in the picture, but just in case there's the Hulk, Hawkeye, Captain America, and a bit of Thor's right shoulder.

I once saw Hulk smash open a meat truck and snack on the cargo. Then the army blew it up, and man was Hulk pissed. It was in that issue with Hulk reflecting off Wolverine's claws.

Hulk and Thor are BOTH fat asses. They eat huge amounts of food, yet still don't look like pigs with thumbs.

I've seen Hulk eat, both in "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes", and in the comics.
In "Avengers: EMH", we've seen Hulk snacking on peanuts and munching a whole chicken. And in the comics, I can remember a time when Grey Hulk was in charge, and blasted himself with so much booze that Banner wound up passed out for the entire day.

I've started watching Avengers: EMH and I saw the first episode where the Hulk was in the mansion for the first time and saw him pig out at the fridge. I didn't see any food enter his mouth but it was implied.
Maybe he doesn't eat all the time like us regular humans do?

Yeah. It was a scene that wasn't in theaters. After Iron Man is revived and sees Hulk, Thor and Cap, he mentions he saw a Shawarma place a while back and that they should go there even though he didn't know what Shawarma was. He wanted to try it. He fought in front of the place during the movie.
After all the credits, there is this one short and quiet scene of the Avengers all sitting around a table in a Shawarma joint with people sweeping in the background after the devestation, eating quietly and awkwardly, with Stark and Banner apparently enjoying the food.

I actually think thats one of the dumbest parts of that movie because ...they dont help out with the recovery which from my own experience would take the entire evening until the next day. The scene looks like they said :"New York is a mess.... F**kit, shwarma calling"

Maybe that's why that scene is so quiet. Somebody mentioned, "Shouldn't we help clean the mess?" Stark says: "Nope." Then they all stay in quiet awkwardness, while Banner and Stark are the only ones that look like they're enjoying themselves.

Hmm, might have to rewatch Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes. I mean he was the Hulk over 95% of the time, and they had him doing normal things like swimming in a pool and watching T.V.

He was eating a few times in the Avengers cartoon [he ate a whole chicken while talking to stark, and it was mentioned that the others got him a stack of pizzas]
At the end of the Marvel elseworlds stories of "Old Man Logan" it was established that hulk and his inbred kin were cannibals

Its really worth more than the hype Marvel didnt give it.
Good battles, special guest heroes from all over Marvel, variety of villians motivated by more than just greed and conquest.
All the heroes put in and nobody really stands out as the best ...except for the hulk when stuff gets too serious.
My favorite episode is when the one where the avengers "died" then Spidey, Wolverine, Thing, War Machine, Luke Cage, Iron Fist took on Kang and beat him which then lead into the finale where a brigade of marvel heroes show up against Galactus and his heralds
Too bad they canceled it after 2 seasons

And according to Marvel instead of letting be its own series the execs at marvel want it to be more like the avengers movies
