Thanks, in fact I'm still struggling to get the ideal color effect as I'm still a freshie in computer graphic, I don't spend much time on drawing recently but in stead putting most of my effort learning this hi-tech stuff because in this competitive post-modern era we have too. We couldn't just get stuck on drawing because it's just not enough. Well at least now I can see that I get some improvement..., the problem wasn't the coloring technique as I already have the fundamental, it was the software functions and usage that's really bothering me!

i color in layers, i use more than 4 layers for shadows, and this way to the other things but this way i lose the anime still in my draws

What is the version of your PS? I'm using CS3 extended. Certain people dislike the newer CS4 because of the completely different user interface. What do you think?

i think elements its too much better by a way...
it has a option that makes the lineal art for you, and it looks awsome
cs3 is good to edit photos, better than elements for that, but to color is so unconfortable
