Thanks for your comment. You get my thinking. Simplicity is always my concentration, but simplicity doesn't always mean technically simple, it depends on how we make good use of whatever technique which is applicable to create whatever we wanted. I put more effort on creating the liveliness, likeness the expression and whatever characteristic feature which is necessary. I think by capturing all the characteristic features is always important than just simply showing of fanciful and complex technique.

You put that in good words. :] I've always liked minimalist art. In your picture the simplicity makes her eye stand out. Which is a really good effect considering that Liz has always had gorgeous eyes. I like how you drew the nose. It's different. I like it!

Yes, I know what you mean. Well my concept is kinda between the two, somehow I think there's no need to throw out too much fanciful stuff to decorate the legendary Liz Taylor if she's already that cool. It's the same like saying a less impressive and very common face needs a lot more make-up to make it a perfect beauty. That's my my idea of drawing. Thanks again for sharing your thought.
