Description
This painting was inspired by B-Movie's song 'Remembrance Day', which always goes through my head every Remembrance Day.Then to add more power to the picture I inscribed the poem 'Dulce et Decorum est' by Wilfred Owen.

We haven't got a museum [Cause our town sucks >:C] but we have like, a statue I think? and the park is dedicated to him and the wars.

... I forgot to say, your composition, use of shapes and textures reminds me of a wonderful unknown woman artist from the 1920-50s called Helen West Heller. You can see her woodcuts at this website [link]
