I decided to try out the Sushi Dog® DTA Contest. My entry is for the Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie design. I love the little ball of mashed potatoes~ In this illustration, he is checking on the growth of his family's carrots~

I would name this little fluffball Taki ("Waterfall," as that would be the power he has - he can generate fresh water), and would refer to him as male. He's a fun-loving happy little critter who lives with a small human family. He loves to relax in the small vegetable garden they have in their backyard, a sectioned off area where they keep the vegetables in a sort of tiered shelf planter. On the top tier, they have built him a small shelter where he enjoys spending his days relaxing in the doorways. Every day, he gets up to check on every individual carrot, onion, potato, etc. He tends to each one with love and care, and keeps them all safe and healthy.

There are many different ingredients in a vegetarian shepherd's pie, and he is partial to all of them. Those vegetables and herbs tend to grow the largest, though he promises he is not biased in any way. He loves to care for the vegetables, but he does so with such tenderness because of the child in the family - this child can only eat very specific foods, and Taki wants to make sure that he gets as many nutrients and benefits from his food as he possibly can. He loves his human family dearly, and always has their health in mind. Not a single pest is ever allowed near his garden.

When the family is ready to pick vegetables, he always floats in front of them and guides them to the best ones of the batch, helping them pick out the ripest and most delicious of ingredients. When not watching over the small garden, he loves to perch himself on his human companions' shoulders or float around near their heads. They've gotten used to turning around and having him suddenly be right in front of their faces. He promises that it's not on purpose, of course. He is a bit of a practical joker though, so he is most definitely lying about that.
