Hmmm....
I'm thinking: the hallway leading to the central bridge of a mid-sized alien scoutcraft. The ship's ten crew are tasked with abducting human civilians to harvest genetic material, which will revitalize a planet rendered nearly uninhabitable by runaway industrialization.

Aliens in need of genetic material could just ask for it or get it from our dead people, no need to use violence. Would you risk an interplanetary war just because afraid to ask for a favor?

... good question. I've seen the "they need Earth genetic material" explanation used hundreds of times in science fiction and conspiracy theories, but I never stopped to think about that point.

But I know that's not interesting for a movie
And if I wanted to fly undisturbed in earth's night skies, I'd just place a white stroboscopic lamp on top of my spaceship, plus 1 red blinking light on the left and one green blinking light on the right. No one is afraid of airplanes
