His name means "snow" in japanese. Though Yuki is a common japanese name, I like it cause
1. it sounds cute
2. my character is described as quiet, timid, kind, but fights when there are people who needs protection. Perfect for snow
3. He has ice powers (my fav element), though he can manipulate them as water and steam too.
Now my intention is that he materializes his guns from his ice element kingdom hearts style. So the belt serves no purpose, but it looks so good to leave out.

Well is this going to be a partner of sorts for Yuki? In that case you should have something that opposes Yuki's personality a bit/compliments it. You could have it that they get along really well or someone who can't stand how gentle/kind Yuki is but still wants his companionship.
As for hair color I'd say not a normal hair color, something out there but not blue since Yuki seems to already have that covered.
If I were to come up with just a random character idea right off the bat then I would say a girl with light pink hair in a long ponytail that has curls at the end. She has some kind of hair clip in the shape of a wing. She's very proud and has a slight temper that she tends to cover up in front of people she doesn't quite know/just met.She dislikes how Yuki is always kind and timid so she feels the need to protect him and sort of scold him, she hates watching someone get told what to do or get manipulated. She would use a staff for battle. Eye color I'd say the same color as her hair, pink haired anime girls tend to look good with pink eyes too. Though if you were to go for a more common color chosen to go with the pink I'd go with light green.

Hmm, I'd go for a dark red. A short range weapon? How about she has knives of some sort then? She could charge them with her powers or something. How about physic powers? For instance making the knives float and then shoot them?

Hmm, but wouldn't the color of the lightning look a little odd with the red and pink? Or maybe we could change the color of the lightning or something? ...o-o
Oh yeah, forgot to mention about the clothes in the last reply. Okay, well I was thinking of going with white and pink like how Yuki's outfit is white and blue. So how about a white dress of some sort with short sleeves,pockets,high-up collar and with pink lining on the ends of the sleeves, tops of the pockets and bottom of the dress? It's hard to describe but that's the idea I'm getting...
Along with light pink or dark red sleeves to cover her arms or perhaps some gloves...something like this?: [link]
And thigh-highs, you just have to have thigh-highs on those anime girls. xDDD
Lastly some boots, I'd say without heels. Heels would make her look a bit more...prissy.

I'd say one ponytail with a curl at the end, if I recall correctly..I mean the general color scheme should be red, pink and white. I'd change the color of the lightning to an almost icy pink.

I'd look for another Japanese name, it would be weird if one person had a Japanese name and the rest weren't Japanese. xD
Hmm how about the other girl is like the cute part of the team? You could go for a shy girl or someone who is just little and naiive.
As for the guy I'd go for a tough guy maybe a bit reckless and tough.

I'd imagine for the cutesy girl to have short hair, short hair tends to look good on the littler anime girl characters. I imagine her hair to be blond or light orange.

How about for Hanaka we do something cutesy...like flowers or floating dolls? *shrug* Projectiles of some sort? And the silver haired guy could probably be the one who uses his fists or something, we could have his fists be enhanced by some kind of magic. Perhaps dark magic?

They look like they could work, but you have to figure out how exactly their powers would counter the hero group's powers. Plus you should determine which character goes up against which, for instance maybe Hanaka opposing Iris?
