Bodypaint and makeup inspired by Soul Reaver and The Phyrexians of Magic The Gathering. I chose not to call it a flat out "Phyrexian" because it's an interpretation and not a literal copy.Related content

Hi everyone! Firstly I *really* appreciate all the comments I'm getting on this piece. It's so wonderful to know that people love my work. I never thought it'd get this many comments to be honest! I'm happily surprised! I think the name however has been a little confusing/misinterpreted, so I thought I'd explain.
I wanted to do my own take on a Phyrexian, and being a fan of MTG I appreciate the original spelling, but there's the reason for my choice. Since it was my own take and not a true Phyrexian, I didn't want to use this name, and so created my own take on it to go with the bodypaint. It's also because the name is copyright and property of WOTC, and I didn't want to use copyright material without their express consent.
The names are an integral part of MTG and I appreciate how frustrating it is to see what looks like a spelling mistake! I hope this clears it up, and that you can continue to enjoy my work.
