There was a note in your locker that read:

“You made flowers grow from my lungs
And although they are beautiful
I can’t fucking breath.”

The next week there was another:

“You move through the room
Like breathing was easy
If someone believed me…”

You asked everyone that has a locker around yours, if they saw who place it. They just shaked their heads in lack of knowledge. You started being very suspicious in who was writing you love notes.

The next week there was another:

“Please don’t be in love with someone else.”

How can you be in love with ‘someone else’ when you didn’t even knew who was your admirer? The same day you caught a boy with blonde hair and glasses watching you in the lunch break. He awkwardly looked away with pink cheeks.

What if he was the boy who writes these notes? Later on you saw him again and damn he was tall and hot. His eyes landed on you for a second and then he looked away.

You were surprised when the next day you received another:

“Lonely Hearts club
Do you want to be with somebody like me?”

After a day there was another. And another next week. They came without a graphic. Unknown why you started checking your locker as soon as you get to school. It’s just the fact that these notes warmed up your heart.

Tree weeks went like this until you decided to get your ass earlier for school and find the person that was putting the notes. Only to be stopped by a freckled boy in the moment you entered the school. He started talking nonsense to you that was followed by awkward smiles you muttered an apologize and went on walking to your locker.

There someone tall was putting a note in your locker yet again. He was blonde and had glasses on, a pair of headphones laid on his neck. You fastly walked to him an grabbed the note from his hand.

Surprised the boy looked at you, his cheeks dusted with red. It was the boy from the lunch break. You moved your eyes from him to the note and back. He was trying not to blush while his arms were like glued to his body.

“So it’s you, huh? Who could say that a tall boy like you has such a romantic side?” You said smiling at him while reading the note.

“And when nothing feels enough
At least you taught me how to love”

“Aww that’s cute! But when were you going to tell me these things face-to-face, lover boy?”

Hearing this nickname made him blush harder. He finally looked in your eyes and said:

“Okay, I really do like you. Like really, really like you. I mean I think it’s more than liking anymore but will you maybe go out with me? Like on a date or something…I-“

“Yes I will! You have no idea how much I loved these notes I am so sad that they ended.”

“Who knows?” he said a hint of smile appearing on his face “Maybe you can have the same things one day said in your face followed by kisses.” He leaned down and kisses your cheek making you blush. He started walking to his friend that tried stopping you earlier when he turned around and said

“Tomorrow after volleyball practice. And by the way my name is Tsukishima Kei. You never asked for my name but you still want a date with me…strange.” He said with a slight smile and continued walking.

You didn’t tell him your name. He probably knows it since he laid his eyes on you.
