I always wonder what tools you use while making these shapes XD is it just 1 circle-mesh, spawn around a few times and joined manually at the center or do you use other fancy stuff? Great shape again!

Thanks! Well, here's a shot of the mesh: [link] Basically started with a beveled cube and deleted everything except for one face. I used MExtrude, but my friend did it with the spin tool. Then we had to get rid of doubles and bridge pieces.

Supercool. I think it's symmetric with respect to a rotation that would take the x axis onto the y axis, the y axis onto the z axis, and the z axis onto the x axis. An animation showing that would be cool...

Off the top of my head, I think a rotation that would do that would be a 120 degree rotation about the vector i+j+k, where i is the unit vector in the x direction, etc. I'll have to try that myself...
Next question would be, how many objects can one design that would have that symmetry, but not some other symmetries?

Well the biggest issue here was trying to replicate the arch bridging that TopMod has, which automatically joins two selected faces with an arch. You can also see in the linked tutorial from my friend, the same issue with C4D. Getting the rotation down didn't take too much thinking. Although I made mine with the MExtrude plugin(like matrix extrude my friend used in his C4D tutorial), and my other friend did it with the spin tool.
