Heres Ed from The Lion King, some hyena fan art. Ive wanted to draw hyenas but Ive never actually drawn one before. I think I screwed up a bit on colours and I simply went over the outline and details with black marker (black markers are just great when it comes to details). Even though he's not a talkative hyena, I bet he's quite intelligent, but then again, I think all animals are intelligent, some more intelligent than humans (lets face it, animals lived on Earth before humans, after all, God created Adam and Eve after he created animals).
Ed voice actor Jim Cummings, at first I thought Disney just used sound effects for Ed since he never really talks, guess not.
