I never understood the glasses thing. I mean, besides from looking fly, fresh, chill, and/or wicked, why? To shield their eyes from the atrocities they commited, or was the light just too bright.

Some of them broke into tears as the evidence was presented. Nobody would want the world to see him in tears.

Yeah, it's shown nicely in the film Nuremberg by Yves Simoneau.

Please do. They've got awesome Goering. Whenever he smiled, I couldn't help but smile too. Their Schirach sucks, though, but there's not much of him anyways.

Poor Seyss. Can sort of sympathize with him, having had glasses most of me life (contact lenses FTW!)
And von Schirach looks in his.

*sigh* At least he's in the top 3 smartest defendants.
And he got to keep them after the trial, lucky bastard. XD

I found those IQ tests a bit baffling as far as the results are concerned. Then there are the old rumours of Albert Speer having spoofed them, not taking 'em seriously and thus ended up lower than he should've.
Yah, Baldur did. And they must've been worn out by 1966...

That's probably what he told von Schirach when the latter teased him for having a lower score. XD
Nope, he kept wearing them for each and every interview after prison. :3

During the Nuremberg trial defendants were issued sunglasses so that they could hide their eyes (and look cool too). Apparently Seyss-Inquart had to keep his massive correctional glasses on instead.
