A young girl who finds Link washed up on the shore of Koholint Island. Kind-hearted and wishful, Marin enjoys singing the Ballad of the Wind Fish to the people of the Island. Even the animals like to listen to her sing. When she confides in Link, she tells him her dream; to travel the world unrestrained by the expectations of her home, presumably as a bird. Should Link not perish during his journey, she just might get her wish. Interestingly, if Link steals anything from the Mabe Village shop, Marin will call him "Thief" and nothing else.
