Been watching the original series through 150 episodes and found an interesting feature in Yugis playing style:
He often plays a card without taking a look of it!
There is a moment when Kaiba notices this same feature, but it seems to appear time after another. Rather Yugi can foresee the cards or...... maybe it's the Heart of the cards

According to Ishizu in the last couple episodes it's because the Millennium Puzzle has the ability to change fate. Meaning he is forcing his deck to give him that card... In other words he is cheating with magic.
