So UH... and I are doing a trade of each others' respective favorite LOK crack pairings... <:I REALLY HOPE SHE LIKES THIS AAH these two were really fun to paint! ~gotta love dem sexy watah tribe peeps~
I love that bloodbending was such an important part of this series, it was one of the most interesting things in the original ATLA to me!

So because I should definitely make myself finish this painting before Otakon, I've decided that drawing a biplane as an intricate foreground element is a SUPER GOOD IDEA!!! The premise has developed to Mr Sato deciding to win back the love of his daughter by giving her AMAZING GIFTS. Asami is all like "Daddy no car can make me feel better about you attacking me in a mecha it just isn't going to fix anythi-" Mr Sato presents her a super amazing biplane with a red bow on it. "I LOVE YOU DADDY MUAH!" And then her first order of business is to take Tahno flying with her.
Geez I just don't know what to do with myself. Talking to you about all these things is too much fun. I'm sorry for my bazillion comments! *paws all over you*

and oh no!! That is the worst feeling, and I've had that happen so many times... THE TROUBLES OF TRADITIONAL ART, AAH.
I've just learned to use white gouache and white gel pens... a lot... and that usually helps me not mess up as much.
