woah...
it's...
really not pretty
if I saw a girl looking like this, I would be badly worried about her way of thinking and seeing herself
but what should we do if people think that's beautiful?
I'm so glad I look normal :/

Is this... suppose to look pretty? I thought it was a stand against anarexia... but then I read some of the comments, and now I'm confused. xD. I guess, personally, I'd rather be 20 pounds or so overweight than 5 pounds under...

your illustration style reminds me of the aenon flux cartoon series-- really angular and pointy bone structures giving the figures an awkward unease feel to them-- but it's beautiful.

"thin is in untill you die of a heart attack with your face in you own vomit on the bathroom floor"

you should do one saying that,

Yes, this is definitely beauty. Just in a different form. The curtsey and the boney stomach, I love. And her hair. She screams unhealthy but in something that isn't easy to pick.

I LOVE HER. Awesome job on this man.
I can hear the "omg ur supportng anarexia" comments now, because you know, people who are naturally thin aren't beautiful etc etc *eyeroll*.
Anyway, fresh spin on this subject. I dig. Beauty in all things man, BEAUTY IN ALL THINGS!

i thought alot of people would be "OMG SUPPORTING.." and it's kind of why i did it, allways fun to mess with peoples perceptions.

but aren't you moching thin as a fasion? Supporting it sarcastically, reducing it to a superficial fad? I don't think this supports it... Even though i do.

Damn you read my mind, I was gonna do a series of thin ass teen girls and the absurdity of beauty in it all.

Nice work as always mate, I don't know about the font choice though. But then I've never been a fan of grunge fonts.

vestrit In reply to Cactus-Army [2006-10-25 00:07:20 +0000 UTC]

i have to admit, i do like thin thin thin girls/guys/people. who doesnt love looking at something so unsustainable? besides, i think there is a place for all kinds of beauty in the world, and in one where its so hard to avoid being overweight what's absurd in finding someone incredibly thin attractive. perhaps it's more of a case of finding the obsesive self control attractive great comment as allways, thankyou.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Cactus-Army In reply to vestrit [2006-10-25 04:08:29 +0000 UTC]

I fully understand the point of attraction. After all most people would like someone who is nicely shaped.
I suppose my point was about society. People should be able to feel comfortable as themselves, whether thin, well rounded or shadow invisible like.

I'd like to see more ads with real people for a change. But I guess it would never happen except in art or anti-ad magazines and the like.
