I used a 100% cream colored cotton rib knit. I dyed it of course.

Thank you! I'm probably going to go back and try and knit one too in the future! @_@ I used denim with an elastic band sewn in at the top for the skirt. ^^

It's not that hard to knit really. Just months of work. Was planning on using an elastic band for the skirt myself at least it would fit snugly then.
