I really like the expression on the person's face, their focus on the newspaper instead of the viewer.  And I see what you did there with the title, nice trick!  I like the lighting on this piece, but my favorite part would have to be the placement of everything.  The man and the tree in the background both follow the rule of thirds, and having one direct light source also looks really good.  Simple but beautiful!
