Description There are many magazines for Linux, or Windows systems for example, but for BSD UNIX systems, there is only one, the BSD Magazine.

I would like to recommend it to all of you interested in BSD UNIX systems, you can download a sample issue here: [link]

Also all of you that already know BSD Magazine and wondered, that maybe they will order some issue, this is the time mates.

BSD Magazine is facing serious problems, if income will not grow (even a little), it will be closed, for good.

You can order issues of the BSD Magazne here: bsdmag.org

I wish I could use BSD.
But until my Wireless Network (Intel WiFi 5100) isn't supported by the iwn driver, I can't use it

Yeah, I know what you mean.

I have several years old Intel 3945ABG WiFi card, and only Linux does not have any issues with it (havent tried Windows there). No matter if I use NetBSD, FreeBSD or OpenSolaris there are always some issues with it.

I was wondering if it will be better to get the newer one Intel 4965AGN, but I have also read about some issues with it, so why put cash in something if you are not sure.

I was also thinking to get some Atheros based WiFi card, heard that they are best supported by open source projects, changing the WiFi card is not so hard anyway.

I wonder when this driver lottery will end and these devices will start to work properly ...

I hope the Dev's get my WiFi driver working soon.
Until this day, I keep Gentoo running on my system.
In my opinion the best Linux choice...
