this has to be my most favorite doll of all times! i LOVE anna in her coronation gown, it's just so stunningly pretty! this poor lady here arrived in a very bad state. her hair was all tangled up, her lashes as well, necklace and shoes missing, dress torn ... it was fun to fix her, though!
she reiceived a full facial repaint with acrylics and pastels and i also tried to restore and restyle her hair. i'll upload more pics of how it looked before.

I know people can do what they want with their doll since they bought it... But I admit to flinching when a child ruins it... Just because they are meant as a collector piece rather than a full-blown toy.

Ich finde es auch dass diese wunderschöne kunststücke keine Spielzeuge für Kinder sind. (Ich habe mal über ein Rapunzel Brautpuppe gelesen, die einen ähnliches Schicksal erlitten hat und am Flohmarkt geendet hat

total schrecklich. ): dabei gibt es ja die großen singings für kinder oder auch die kleinen puppen in den deluxe sets oder mit den kleidersets. ): ich versteh auch gar nicht, wieso eltern so viel geld für eine puppe "zum spielen" ausgeben .... allein der preis zeigt ja schon, dass es ein sammlerstück ist. D:

Ich glaube, viele denken, das je teurer desto besser ist die Qualität und sie wollen nur das allerbeste für ihren Kind kaufen. Aber es steht doch drauf dass es kein Spielzeug ist...

na ja, eigentlich sind die ja nur so teuer, weil die kleider auch so detailreich sind, aber ich denke mir, als ich klein war, hat mir das nicht sooo viel ausgemacht, wie detailgetreu ein kleid war. so ein kind hat ja eine menge phantasie! und eigentlich weiß man ja auch, dass spielzeuge - und grade barbies - nach einer weile ganz schön in mitledenschaft gezogen werden, weil das kind die haare aufmacht und kämmt und die puppe umziehen will etc. wie du schon sagtest, da steht ja dick und fett LIMITED EDITION drauf mit zertifikat. D:

There's patterns for Aurora, Jasmine, Merrida, Pocahontas, the Fairy Godmother, Belle, Rapunzel, Tiana, Mulan and Snow White
Plus I got a How to crochet Frozen one as well that comes with enough stuff to make Elsa and Anna

well, the doll already came with this dress, she's the real limited edition doll, just some kid had her for play before and my friend basically rescued her and gave her to me for a make over. =/
