My finished Hobbit chemise and skirt!The skirt is made from a cotton I dyed to get the moss green color I wanted. The chemise is made from raw silk. I smocked the neckline and the sleeves. The ears I got from Weta (wetanz.com) and they were pulled from the same mold as Frodo's! I definetly plan to get a wig since my own hair is difficult to curl, and I might make a go at making hobbit feet. I still have to make a bodice to go with this.

it has definitely the 'simple gown' look.
Something that is anything but simple to achieve, to give the 'normal' feeling, the 'common' look of an everyday Hobbit.
