Happy heart and hooves day!Sorry for the delay on the comic I am way behind due to work and school and moving but I should be back on track soon. have my first attempt at homage for the wait.
I just got my drawing tablet in let me know what you think about the style as this is a very rough looking way I wated to do the comic. This is nothing great but I did it in a day and with more practice I should get a better hang of it. There are ALOT of mistakes, but I didnt want to waste too much time as I want to get back to the comic.

Your right I believe it's on her birthday. I imagine with an entire year of watching her friends live their lives from the side line, and with no interaction from anypony. That when she finally gets woken up from her year long nap from the one pony who loves her as much as she deserves that tears of joy would flow uncontrollably. That's at least what was in my head as I drew it. Might not have captured it, but onward and upward I can only get better. I think.....

I know it's been almost a year since you posted this, but that's incorrect. It's been established that Littlepip can leave the pod whenever she wants, but chooses to stay in order to help Equestria. Homage can visit more than once a year, and they don't have to be separated by her attachment to the pod, since it's not permanent. It just needs a controller, and Equestria wasn't ready to let Pegasi control the weather again.

Actually, to correct them, Littlepip can leave the pod whenever she wants, and Homage can visit her whenever, but she chooses to stay in the pod because controlling the weather of a country is very hard word and time consuming. Basically, she'll be free to spend all her time with Homage once Equestria is able to trust Pegasi again. Happier, but still bittersweet ending.
