Her chest rises and falls steadily throughout the night from each gentle draw of breath and exhalation, as she sleeps soundly on the comfortable bed with multiple layers of linens. The papaya whip light of Secunda illuminates her room along with the set of wax candles melting above a silver platter. As she dreams, I stand beside her bed observing her emotionless face. The way her lips part as she breathes, the dark chocolate hair bordering her face, and her youthful, glowing skin. She is beautiful. Seraphic. My heart aches from temptation and love.
Eventually, she opens her eyes revealing captivating emerald irises like seeing a field of green grass through a windowpane. Once she awakens, her pupils dart my direction, and a quiet gasp escapes her lovely lips.

"It's me," I whisper causing her eyes to widen which lift those thick black eyelashes until they touch her browbones.

"Lucien," she breathes stretching beneath the quilt. My heart pounds from the way she says my name. No one can say it the way she does.

I lean over the bed to stroke her delicate face and her hand latches on to my arm as I support myself above her.

"Do you know why I'm here?" I quietly ask. She remains silent then licks her lips while I gaze into her eyes. I slowly move in and rest my lips against hers. A violet halo surrounds her body while she is enchanted with the Love of Sithis.

"I love you, nightshade," I whisper in her ear, running my fingers down her neck. Her eyes shut from the touch.

"I love you too," she says. "Rest with me."

RAMBLE NOTES

For the longest time, her name was a typo because of a misspelling on my southern night sky tapestry. The tapestry says "Aluora" for Canis Major's tail star when it is supposed to be "Aludra." My other Oblivion OC is "Rasalhague" after the alpha star in Ophiuchus and nothing astronomy related came up on the internet for "Aluora." Soooo, yeah.
