- Gori is an ornery komodo who wants others to stay out of his territory. He's the type to never back away when someone challenges him and he doesn't hesitate to do what needs to be done. Despite his scowling disposition, he's quite easy to get along with outside of his territory. Gori is more than willing to take the hit for someone beside him, as shown by his countless scars. His strong, dominant nature gives others a sense of security when he's around.
- Since the cave in accident, he has made a drastic change amongst the Sentients. Rather than being a dominating force, he prefers to lay on the sidelines and watch over the others around him. When it gets out of hand he become the mediator to solve the problem rather than settle all things through broken bones and bloodshed. He is much easier to get along with now, and does not take offense to anything thrown at him.
- Though adapting to his new way of life rather well. It seems there is an old darkness inside of him trying to claw it's way out. Rather it's the old Gori, writhing through the Chaos of his mind in order to return his mind back to the way it once was. When alone for too long Gori suffers from delusions of his old self and communicates with him, seeing his old self as if he were right in front of him. He is frightened of this old Gori, and he is unsure how much longer he can old it back.
- The darkness inside has finally flourished once more. Reverting the old Komodo back into his previous temperament. Ornery and one of the most vicious in the Forests of Eden.

- Gori was among the few that escaped his father's appetite. He was left to fend for himself, along with one other brother and sister. However, as food became harder to grasp, Gori had to do the unthinkable and devour both siblings in order to survive. An act that will haunt him to this day still. When he matured, he returned to his nest and challenged his father for supremacy over the domain. He succeeded and forced his father to flee from his newly acquired territory.

Gori
Having never been a light sleeper, the peaceful dragons remains slumbering upon his perch. Today was another good day for the Komodo. No mental attacks shutting his body down, no Sentients causing a ruckus that he would have to quell or instigate depending on his level of humor for the day. Nothing, not even a rock to his shoulder could wake the sleeping giant from his well deserved paradise. Such ignorance was typical of an apex predatory. With no natural threat, he could drift away in the open without a care in the world.

Oddly enough tho just 3 hours after sending that message a load of RPs that I hadn't had a reply from (sent out about 3+ days ago) All got reply's.... I dunno what is going on anymore -_-
Alltud:
Peaking from behind the boulder a small wave of frustration floated past her as she realises that the pebble she threw earlier didn't even stir the slumbering beast.
She turns back into the shadow of the boulder, where she hid earlier, to allow her a moment to think of another way to disturb him.
*Nothing I can lift will be heavy enough to even be felt through those thick scales of his...* She thinks to herself. Then it hit her. She could have a bit of fun with his lack of sensitivity and see how long it takes for him to notice her placing things on his head.
Starting off with some more small pebbles lying close to her, she flew over and hovered above his head, lightly placing a small pile of the pebbles on the crown of his head. With that still not disturbing his snooze she proceeded in collecting more, this time even larger pebbles, and creating a sort of piramid ontop of his head.

A clear reminder of how ignorance is bliss. Would any other Sentient have figured out what Alltud was doing, they would have torn her asunder before the first pebble had been lain. Such was the purity of Gori when all else in the world was behind him. Only the joy at hand was on the mind of our Tragic Hero. There was however, a slight weight being placed on him. In his dreams he felt the shock of being confined to his cave again. Should the collapse ever befall again what would happen to the beast this time? A mere memory loss occurred the first time around. Perhaps this time he would lose his life. That shock disrupted the peace the Komodo had expressed. In a gnarled hiss the beast had awoken and taken a quick snap in the air above him where Alltud was attempting to place another stone. The rocks already atop his head scattered out in a burst. With the pebbles flaring out, it would be hard to see the rows of jagged teeth rising. Luckily they were surrounded by the bright pink maw mixed with the putrid bile the Komodo would expel upon opening his jaws.

Now only one pebble away from creating a perfect pyramid shape on top of Gori's head, Alltud noticed him slowly stirring in his sleep. Totally oblivious to what was going on in his head she proceeded in her task and went to place the final pebble on the pile. Before she even had a chance to let go of the stone, the old dragon lashed out. With a tremendous hiss he opened his jaws to the area the small blackbird was hovering in, snapping them closed, he narrowly missed taking a chunk out of her leg. In shock she flew back to avoid another possible outburst forgetting, for a brief moment, about the pebbles she had earlier placed on his head which were now flying in all directions. Luck was not on her side today as one of the pebbles clipped the end of her right wing, knocking her off balance and causing her to fall to the floor. Where most would've fled at the mear sight of such a ferocious outburst, the young blackbirds legs wouldn't allow her to. Frozen with the thought that her little game had awoken the darker side of the old dragon, fear had consumed her body. With her heart bounding thick in her head all she could do was watch as her possible demise unfolded.

The fiery orange eyes of the Komodo scowered the area. A tongue flickering most violently to pick up the scent of his attacker. Drool seeped through the scaly lips of the beast. Were it not for the small rays gleaming through the open leaves, one might say it resembled blood. Perhaps a foreshadow of actions to come. The blood seeps from his mouth, causing the beast to grow ever so thirsty. He would have to quench this thirst with more from the innocent. Perhaps it was even to remind Alltud that despite the friendship they supposedly had, Gori was still a ferocious predator. The slightest kick in the wrong direction could mean certain demise. For sake of the terrified bird, this was the Gori of old. The Gori who may perhaps come to light in the future again. Grasping hold of the scent, his head turns toward the fallen friend. And with another hiss he creeps down from his rock and claws his way towards her. "Oh....Hey Alltud. What's up with ya?" A calming tone to intertwine with the ferocity expressed before. What was he to be such a contracitory to his own life? A simple answer really. He is Gori and yet he is not. In due time, all would know who he really is.

Still frozen where she fell earlier Alltud looked at the ferocious dragon with fear she hadn't felt since her first encounter with the dark fire. "G-Gori?.." She tried to call the calm being that she grew to know earlier, but swiftly shut her beak upon seeing the blood seep out from Gori's mouth.
Survival instincts had kicked in by now and the frightened little blackbird had the strength to stand. Making a quick getaway though the air as out of the option, as the pebble that hit her earlier had damaged her wing even more so than she first thought. With a small chunk of flight feathers missing from the tip of her wing she noticed a fairly big cut seeping out blood. Fearful that the blood would bring out Gori's preadatory side even further she slowly steps back. As the old dragon stepped of his little rock, an air of calm seemed to surround him. Still airing on caution, Alltud gulped and tried to calmly reply to the dragon. "I-I'm fine... thanks..." Desperatly trying to rub the little pool of blood around her in to the ground, and closing her wing tightly to her body to try and hide the scent of the blood she carrys on trying to step backwards away from Gori.

I'm working on it now thank you very much. As I say to all of my friends, "You may kiss the whitest part of my ass and enjoy every minute of it." *bows* hahahaha. i just needed a way to intertwine the actual story to his healing, but i figured a warm up will suit just fine before i m able to get the time to work on the RP comic.
Gori:
A narrowed eye fixes itself on a small area around Alltud, where the warm fluid drips at her side. A flickering tongue taking in the euphoric scent of the aphrodisiac all these warm-blooded creatures carried. Still, the sight of her terrified expression left the Komodo to halt his steps and lay against the ground. Offering no ill will toward his hurt friend, merely wishing to aid her and her injury. "That's a pretty damn strong scent ya got there, Alltud. You got to be careful here in Tulathas. By far the most keen senses of smell here. Especially for that lovely sight oozin' out the side of ya." A though occured to him. Had he bitten her? Was she frozen because of the crippling venom he possessed? He immiately picks himself up, dragging his body against the damp ground to assert to any standby predators that she belonged to him. "You didn't get bit did ya?" He lightly whispers to her, eyes searching through the darkness of the forest for any signs of hostile movement.

Growing concered over the fact Gori arose. The little blackbird knew that, in her current condition, getting out of Tulathas and through the other forests to get back to the sanctuary of her home would be a very hard task, especially with the apparent scent emiting from her wound. Holding her wing tighter to her body, in a further attempt to mask the smell, she walks towards the old dragon and finds security in resting against his side. "No I don't think I got bitten..." She replays the whole event in her head, as she looked to the floor, the whole thing happened so quickly she wasn't even sure herself what happened. "I'm sorry Gori..."

and yeah, its a little something I came up with back in an old group with Scrap. we never got to finish because i left the group, so i figured we'd be able to do it here too. and perhaps finish it this time around since it wont be nearly as long.

"It's not your fault..." It seemed his feral instincts had taken over for the quick moment he lashed at her. Any threat seemed to have scurried off long before he began the search. It was better this way. Of course, this increase in animalistic behavior only meant one thing for the aged Komodo. "The time is comin', Alltud. I'm goin' to not be well for a while. And I'm not sure what I'll do durin' that time." His body was almost shaken with fear. Not for his own sake, but this beast was nearly a perfect predator. There weren't many that could stand against his might. Should he go awry he would need the aid of either those close to him or those powerful enough to keep him back from ravaging the land. "I think, I need to return to the cave sometime soon. I'm alright for now, but I can feel the Chaos gripping it's claws against my scales."

Oh wow that sounds cool! Gori seems like he has been through alot with his closer friends so that would be good to see first hand what they have all been through.

With a sharp turn she looks up at Gori, scowling deep into his eyes. "It was my fault. If I left you alone you wouldn't be in this state." Her eyes sadden as she realies what her earlier actions might have done. "And now your 'sick' again. You're probably on the brink of loosing your sanity, and it was all because I placed a few pebbles on your head." Sitting down on the ground she opens her wing to check on her wound, now starting to scab over and heal. "I'm useless, small, and only good as anothers midday snack." Closing her wing again she sighs and looks to the floor. "I wish I had the strength to help you."

He a disheartened sigh, he lays on his belly, placing his chin against the damp ground. "These attacks become more frequent. Not a whole lot of fun. Hurts like a mother with a bad one and leaves me crippled." He laughs at the irony, for a Komodo hunts through either fast attacks, or slow agonizing pain and immobilization. "When the day comes Alltud, I expect you to be far away." His eyes looks over in her direction, conveying to sorrow he feels at the thought of crushing one of his friends. "I'm just hopin' that you live up to all that fast talk you back up."

As the depressed dragon rests his head on the floor, Alltud walks up to him and pats her wing on his head, in an attempt to comfort him. "Oh come on Gori I think the last thing you need when your out of control is for there to be no one around to snap you out of it." Giving him a playfull nudge on the cheek she attempts to break his visious cycle of seeling sorry for himself. "Besides I'm stronger than you think. I may be small but I've survived this long completly alone. Just helping others with deep and meaningfull emotion stuff I struggle with... I'm sure I could withstand any punch you throw at me." She states knowing full well the old dragon wouldn't believe a word of it.

"I'm goin' to hold ya too that one of these days." Beginning to feel much better knowing she's alright, he lifts his head off the ground. He had never once felt sorrow for himself, he just wasn't sure how to deal with these situations properly. It was all starting to come back to him. Memories, lifestyles, the works. A pained expression as a light attack courses through his body, causing the scaly beast to cringe. As it dies down, he becomes calm was more and grins at Alltud lest she worry more about him. "I've been through quite a bit in my life. I think I can handle a few more situations like this whole bit before I finally kick the bucket." He chuckles.

With a reassuring giggle she hops onto Gori's elbow lying just next to his scarred body, and pats him on ther back of his neck as he looked to the sky with a pained expression. Hoping back of to face his front, just as he looks back down to her to grin and give her some reassuring words. Making a sort of fist with her foot she taps Gori's left claw. "Yeah I believe you've been through alot... but please don't over do it... You might surprise yourself and find out this new you is weaker than before." Shuffling her wings a bit she smugly looks back up at Gori. "Just don't get too complacent ok?"

He nods his head, with an understanding. It wasn't as if he had a choice in this matter anymore. He would have to accept what would come in time, and hope for the best possible outcome. It was all the Komodo could do to suppress that hallucination he saw from tim to time. "Just make sure you're fast. That's all I can ask of ya." She bragged that nobody could touch her with her amazing speed. He had hope for his God's sake that she was telling the truth.

I noticed... Your RPs are more involved... and tbh a bit more interesting than others I have been in... For some reason Alltud attracts the 'Chat/ script' RPers.... Ugh I'm getting a bit tired of them, in one of them I am leading it up a mountain to find it fruit... Might have push them off and end it or something cos I can see it going nowhere fast...

well it all comes back to dealing with that taking initiative you here me mention. others just want to follow along for the ride, but if NOBODY sets a plotline in motion, then nothing happens. everyone just waits around for someone else to bring up the ideas to do something. so i try to do my part in setting things in motion. see the problem now though, even with this new RP i started on the forum, i opened it up to everyone, but everyone is going to chill on the side and wait for things to play out. i probaby should have invited people rather than hoping people would step up.
and i hope to god you join in on the fight. also, im not sure where to check my PMs on there, but hopefully ill get back to ya soon on there.

Another foolhardy chuckle escapes his breath. "I'm not doubtin' you, Alltud. Just makin' sure you're up for the challenge." Despite what everyone thinks, Komodos are an extremely fast species, capable of quick bursts of speed at any given moment. His concern for her well being was diminishing. He knew full well she could hold her own at this point. There was no need to be worried for someone like her. It brought a sense of hope to the Komodo's cold body.

Smiling up at the old dragon, she knew his troubles were starting to seep back out through the dark recesses of his mind. There was nothing to stop the fact, but just to make sure someone was there when it did happen to ensure that dammage to both other Sentients and Gori were kept to a bare minimum. and no its not them backing out. im saying that everyone will view, read, and stalk the RP forums forever. even if the RP says everyone welcome, nobody will join because they cant take any initiative. they'd rather be invited, then ask if they can join.
and i found the PMs yay! they right on the front page when you sign in. scroll down to the bottom and look at all the statistics.
and sure you can go ahead and add in your bit. if someone else finally replies it may catch the attention of someone else. so far it'll be you and Rome. Chu can sit and watch.

Gazing down at her wing, she lets out a little sigh. "Oh yeah... Flying home's going to be pretty hard in this condition..." Sensing that the old dragon probably wasn't just concerned for her safety but also wanted a bit of companionship whilst his personal darkness fights with his consciousness. She settles herself down just infront of, and resting her head on, his left claw. "Thanks Gori."

I never said I enjoyed RPing with her.... but I also never said I hated RPing with her.... All Chu ever thinks about is food and hunting.... and saying hello... Thats why my character has ditched her for a moment to help the peacock on the forum.

With a self pittying sigh she replys to the dragon. "No not many others... Most Sentients use me to help them get food, then once they get their fill they turn tail and I pretty much never see them again. I've been trying to find Ace the peacock since that week it rained solidly. But for someone that stands out so much he's so hard to find." Closing her eyes she fans her wings out in an attempt to soak up some warmth from the suns blaring rays beating down on the two. "It's pretty hard to see me though the thick browns of the forests, ideal for hunting though." She opens an eye to look up at Gori "What about you?"

well thats how i was when i first started too. then again my first ever RP character was a total badass and i didn't even have to try. he just kinda rose to the top after a long enough time hahaha.
hahaha, yeah most tend to stray away from her after while. my ony real beef with her, is that she tries to play copycat with a few of the characters i RP with alot. so i notice it quick.

It's so hard for me to RP tho.... not only am I new to the whole thing I have only RP'd with people that have approached me. But also due to time zone diffrences I'm asleep when everyone else is RPing... so mine don't tend to go further than 2 comments a day if I'm lucky. OTL

"I've seen her around... It was during that rainy week... She had a little raccoon with her.." Stoping mid sentence the little blackbird lowers her head back onto Goris claw. "She has such lovely golden feathers.... Puts mine to shame really."

Rome is one of the ones shes copying actually. im not sure if shes still going with it, but the day Rome announced she was watching over a kid, i hopped into the RP and sure enough Chu was just finding one to take care of.
hahaha yeah, my schedule is pretty messed up as well. when i should be asleep, im awake, so my list can double. i make friends at night sometimes and some when i have to get up early. its a pretty all around schedule for me. and yeah, ive actually already started chattin with a couple people wanting to get in. they excited, but it sucks cuz we dont know when they gonna open again.

"If it's any consolation, I wouldn't judge either of you based on your feathers. I'd eat the both of you either way." Giving in to his terrible sense of humor was becoming one of his trademarks. "But yeah, I'm sure there's more, but those are the just friends I've had to meet again since the accident." Funny how the list of his friends consisted mostly of birds. Perhaps they felt more comfortable around the scaly beast, much in their relations to the prehistoric dinosaurs, Gori's kind was also a prehistoric beast. A semblance of ancient history finds comfort in the other during these modern times. "I'm sure you'll see the others from before your accident again, they are probably just staying away untill they can fully be assured that you wont hurt them." i bet she got rid of it as soon as she noticed it wasnt sticking. really i think she'd be alright, if she just didnt come on so strong. i know she thinks its cute, but i cant stand where she just licks my character gratuitously. she hasnt done it since i told her to stop.
and yeah i think i do try to keep everyone together. but i can only do so much alone.
and yeah thats what sucks for the brotherhoods that get capped. someone makes a character and thats it. whereas someone else wanting to join actually wants to draw and RP.

A St Bernard shouldn't be a cute character... It doenst suit them... Especially when all she ever draws is Chu loking all angry and shit... It's like, why don't I ever see this side?
I spent AGES looking into my character.... cos other options were taken already... Worked my arse off for over a week making the app and back up story (and this was during my holiday too) and some people just make meaningless characters who end up just fading into the distance after 3 days of being accepted in....

hahaha yeah. thats precisley why im trying to get that part of his world back. im sick of trying to make friends. ready to start pissing peeps off again. and awwww couldn't you see Gori and Alltud holding hands skipping around a berry tree?
oh im surprised you havent. after i started doing the whole Dissociative Identity Disorder and the Schizophrenia for Gori, Chu started doing split personalities too when she went into heat. the very next day Cia got outt heat. you see where im going with this.
and i found out about this group 2 days before the opening. and managed to make one of the few with some substance behind him. his personality just didnt sit well with the others so i ended up doing the memory loss. but now i see what a mistake that was to change him. he was MY Gori. not theres.
Gori:

Ironically because he doesn't sweat, it's the one part of him that isn't vile. "I think I'm almost curious to see how much different I am when I'm not this way. What I was like the old way. The real me." It wouldn't be long now. The Gori once feared across the lands would make his emergence again.

Knowing all to well that his re-entry into the world was almost certanly going to happen she didn't want to see her new friend dissappear into the darkness forever.

honestly i thoght perhaps i had done something wrong. but after awhile i remembered, nothing but a bunch of little girls in this group. thats when i got the idea to return him back. but being a dedicated storyteller, i wanted it to at least make sense. so given that he'll have lived on both sides, the ornery asshole, and the kind father figure, it'll help to develop him a little deeper. but im ready to start flippin people off and throwing boulders at them again. that was fun.
how would he be the one to live a short life?

"We'll see when it happen, Alltud." He rests his head against the ground now. Contemplating how he may avoid this sudden change. But there was nothing. This was going to happen. Chaos Gori was going to shut his body down and become one with him again. But what would happen during that time? Would he simply lie there? Or would be become the Perfect Predator he is known for?

Knowing that this little encounter might be her last with the current timid dragon. She becomes lost in the gentle serenity of the moment and leans onto his side, falling into a light sleep. Her thoughts lifted by the sound of his heartbeat echoing through his thick scales. She reassured herself that so long as the old dragon was still alive there will be a chance of what she considered the 'True Gori' to come fighting back through the darkness of his former self.

Though she wasn't able to produce much heat to warm his cold body, he did feel better knowing that she had become comfortable being around him. It wasn;t everyday people would so willingly rest their eyes in the protection of the Komodo. Oh who was he kidding, that was becoming a daily basis with him.

Tossing and turning within the sanctuary of the dragons battered scales, the young blackbirds dreams turned from a simple and pleasant warmth to a dark and unbearably intense heat. Letting out little distressed chirps under her gasping breath the same dream played over and over, becoming more frequent as her little existence went on.

To him they were a typical dreamworld unscathed by the wretchedness of the innocence of the world. And so uncaring to her chirps, he lays his head down, hoping she enjoys the nightmares to which he assumed were pleasant dreams.

With the intense heat in her dream edging closer, the sleeping blackbird pushes her side further into Gori in an attempt to escape the flames. Maybe reliving a past memory? Or the drakness emiting from Goris tortured soul was so strong that it began to affect anything close to him? All Alltud wanted to do was escape. Burying her head deeper into the old dragons side the slow beat of the cold blooded beasts heart helped extinguish the flames, and replaced them with a blinding light as she slowly opened her eyes.

"Have a nice dream there?" His sarcastic tone was always a warm welcome in the eyes of Sentients. If only he realized that it seemed his mere presence was enough to cause others to go mad. Or perhaps it really was an old memory, long forgotten by the small bird, buried deep within her subconscious. Quite a feat he could relate too. On a daily basis he dwelled in his subconscious trying to piece together the shattered fragments of his memory.

Avoiding any further damage to her eyesight from the blaring sun, she buries her head deep into her left wing. Catching a glimpse of an old burn scar hidden under the shadows of her flight feathers, she lets out a little sigh. "Yeah you could say that..." Pausing for a few seconds, to gather her thoughts, she gradually lifts her head back out. "I don't know how you do it Gori... You fight endlessly with your darker half, clearly in such pain and anguish all the time because of it. Yet you appear so cool, calm and collected towards everyone."

"Call it instinct." He tells her with a proud tone. "Somewhere deep down I enjoy being in a constant struggle. It kinda gives me somethin' to pass the time each day." It wasn't as simple as he made it sound. Gori's body was never built to deal with mental trauma. In fact a thought process was once far beyond his reach, rather living off of natural instincts to survive. Thinking things over usually led to things becoming more complicated than they already were.

"You need to find something to distract you from your problems." In a desperate attempt to try and lighten the mood Alltud suggests something that she may come to regret in the future. "Why don't you show me your home? You've, well sort of, seen mine... be it a blury encounter in the forest. But that's not the point... Dreary settings mean a dreary mind maybe changing your home might make things easier on your mental state." Hopping on his claw with excitement. "Come on I wanna see your home!"

With a light hearted chuckle, the old Komodo picks himself up and begins treading through the forest. "It was too barren the first time 'round. So I've already spruced it up a bit. Much more pleasant on the eyes actually." Whether or not the bird was actually following was unknown to Gori. He continued his path talking to himself of the wondrous decoration he littered across his home. "After awhile though, the other Sentients get angry seein' that there's probably one of their relatives' bones scattered everywhere." A small shrug of his shoulder made him oblivious to the feelings of desecrating their families' remains. "It's like they take things too personally, you know?"

Shocked that Gori even took up the chance to show off his home, Alltud began following behind him. With her wing still not fully healed up yet she was unable to fly. So she settled for scurrying around behind the old dragon. After a while her short legs could only keep her so far from the him, and the distance between the two grew ever further. Loosing sight of Gori as he weaved his way through the trees she found herself lost and vunerable. Knowing all to well how dangerous the Scales forest is, and with the added issue of being unable to fly sending her fear levels into overdrive. Twigs snapping, gentle hissing and the sounds of scales coiling around tree bark filled the surrounding air. Fearing for her life the vunerable blackbird just ran into the direction she last saw Gori heading into. With her eyes looking up at the branches above, keeping an eye out for snakes and the like, she didn't notice the scaly hide of the old Komodo as she tripped over his tail.

He chuckles to her, oblivious to the fact he already left her behind a short moment ago. Here the old Komodo thought he was engaging in a descriptive conversation about is temporary home with her. Though it was typical for him. Being top predator allowed him to stay off guard for damn near all of the time in these Forests. The creeping deaths, the slithering scythes, all of which the little bird would fear was a mere fly on the wall to Gori.

Desperatly trying to catch her breath she gasps at the old Dragon. "... uh... *pant*... W-were still not there?" Letting out a deep sigh she picks herself up and slowly walks to the side of Gori, ensuring that she was just within his range of eyesight. "It's alot harder for me to keep up, considering I still can't fly just yet. Can't you just slow down a bit? Or at least let me ride on your head." Her playful request was quickly forgotten by the little blackbird as the rusting of an inhabitant near to their area forced her to retreat under Goris belly.

As he continues along, his eyes glance toward the brush beside them. "Somethin' wrong, Alltud?" Easily distracted and never having had the best hearing, Gori tries to glance where her tiny little eyes stare. There was nothing out here that could harm him, however he did have a tiny little morsel scampering around with him. More caution would have to be provided if he wanted her to make it to his home safely. "We don't get close to home until the forest starts rotting." His home was located on the wasteland edge of Tulathas. Where the forest burns and the ashes are scattered through the sands. Where only the strong survive.

Popping her head out from under Goris tremendous body Alltud keeps a vigilant eye out for the creature that was stalking the two. "I think there's something watching us..." Feeling somewhat safer sheltering under the old dragons ripped mass, the two carried on their journey. "Rotting? Seriously? You live near the wastelands? You git! No wonder you fight with bad thoughts everyday... Living that close to such a horrible place is sure to make anyone go insane."

The two tread on. Soon the trees begin to rust with a sandy grain. The ground becomes swift and less pressure is mashed against the Komodo's old joints. Soon the wasteland would be upon them. With the single Boab Tree standing above an enormous, eroded cave. The bowl shaped ground littered with decaying carcasses and bones. "Actually, here is when I'm at ease. Things make more sense out in these parts. And to be quite honest, when I'm in the darkest parts of my cave, that's when everythin' comes in clear for me." His tongue flickers as the two come upon the homeland of Scuz and Gori.

As the two approached the vicinity of Goris cave the ground seemed to dissappear more under a blanket of ash and debris. Rather much like walking on soft sand, the small blackbirds scrawny feet wern't used to stepping on such loose terain. Sinking slighty with each step she took, walking the now short distance to the komodos cave seemed more of a chore. Looking around at the desolate area surrounding his cave, she attempted a polite critique, desperately trying not to offend Gori. "It's... Well... Quiet, to say the least. Does anyone else live around here? Besides you."

"It actually belongs to Scuz." His snout points up to the tree towering atop the cavern. "That used to be on level land before I came around. He hasn't complained much 'bout me fixin' the place up. But I think it's just 'cause he wants me to feel comfortable out here." He lets out a long sigh for he would have to move soon in due time. When memory returns, it's time for him to leave and go back to his true home. "I tell ya what, revonvatin' this place keeps me busy. It's relaxin' actually."

As they approach the mouth of the komodos cave a putrid smell of rotting flesh, possibly from one of the old dragons left overs, filled the air around them. Being used to the crisp clean airs of the wings forest, the small blackbird tried her best not to make a scene over the ripened odour. "I-it's a nice place here." Knowing all to well that the komodo would have none of her lies, she felt that carnivors had a natural way of living that was boud to be considerably diffrent to her own.
