Quick doodle in between work, decided to try to color it in nicely xD I'm not great with non-MLP related characters so my dog anatomy is all over the place. Still, I had fun trying this out!This is my golden skull puppy character who still doesn't have a name. They were designed by the amazing !
I'll get back to MLP stuff soon, but I realized I totally neglect my non-MLP characters so I've been scribbling my other chars for fun :3 I gave 'em a long neck on purpose, they're supposed to be super stretchy. I'm gonna work more on giving my characters actual backstories. This guy doesn't have a gender yet either! Maybe I'll leave it that way o:
I'd like to play more with effects in the future, too... My art feels very bland and "meh" right now, I'd love to add in cool filters or textures. ^^

Though about adding texture to your work, I think it depends on what you're going for. Textureless and even flat-colour drawings can look very pretty when done right <3
