Great! I've tried to take a picture like this but we were sent away. "Sir, it's not allowed to walk over the Memorial...."

It was pure luck believe me! But that day everyone was walking over the memorial oO I don't know if it was because of the 1st of May, there's always a revolution in Berlin but people were jumping around and playing hide and seek. There was actually a guy playing didgeridoo and whenever people found him he would go somewhere else. I was like "so... this is how they live in the memorial uh?" It really left me confused xD
But the place is amazing, it was my favorite among all the places we were able to go in one week and the museum is breathtaking. I'm saying this as an architecture student because the theme is really heavy it's not something to be happy about... so in sume, a place to visit in future for sure ^^

Ah on 1st May this is special
The time i went there, they sent us away .... (Note to myself: Visit Berlin 1st may 2009 )
This place is very special, as you stated. the hard thing is, that there can be a couple of people and you feel totaly alone when your inside the memorial... this was very facinating.

If you go that day, you might catch some freaky guys starting a fire or somethin xD
Anyway, as an architect, this is my favorit museum ever and it will be hard to surpass.
