Oh it does, they eventually becomes friends, but the Hannah I wrote about is very different from how Hannah is portrayed in the game, as well her relationship to her daughter.
I'm not gonna force you to read it so I'll just take in short why she greets Liara at gunpoint.
In my story, instead of Ashley getting beaten up by the android on Mars, Shepard is the one who gets her ass handed to her and ends up in a coma throughout nearly the entire length of the story. Liara blames herself for this, after she and Shepard had a heated argument on Mars, when she confronted Shepard about a couple of questionable injuries she had right before she was taken into custody and then confronts her about something from her past that involves red sand. Liara regrets that she even brought it up after that happens on Mars and buries herself in work, until she gets reluctantly talked into confronting Shepard again about her past by her friends. When Liara and Hannah meet, Liara have been searching for Shepard ever since she was moved away from Heutra Memorial Hospital under strange circumstances, while she also tries to reveal Shepard's past after the red sand starts to hint on something bigger, maybe even life-changing, from her past which Liara wants to understand. Hannah has her own special relationship to Cerberus and when they meet, Hannah is personally guarding her daughter because she believes that Cerberus have tried to assassinate her daughter and she is VERY overprotective in the beginning until she opens up to Liara throughout the story.
(Wow, that wasn't short at all, sorry...)

Wow! That sounds like a very interesting story! So was your Shep an Earthborn/Ruthless or something?

Felicia is a Paragade/lone survivor, Spacer who has problems to convey her emotions and has trust issues after a lot the crap she has been put through, whereas her Mother becomes after some horrible events in her past pretty ruthless as well as impatient, but both Liara's friendly and sensible nature and Aethyta's wisecracking humor managed to crack Hannah's harden skin eventually. And both the Shepard's are hotheads, given what they have both experienced from their pasts, so they both sometimes act before they think, which is what the core element of their characters are in the storyline. Liara in this story never made up with Shepard after Lair of the Shadowbroker (they still love each other, but there is a lot of frustration and anxiety between them) and Liara has basically the same kind of personality in the beginning of the story as she had when you meet her on Illium for the first time in Mass Effect 2, but she becomes overwhelmed by whole spectrum of mourning (guilt, fear, anger, acceptance) after she starts to unwind the mystery from Shepard's past until she finds out the truth.
*another wall of text yeesh, I'm really bad at explaining plainly...*
