Thank you for being one of the few artists in Theros to create pieces that are inspiring. The set overall feels kinda generic to me, but that's not going to stop me from making a Spellheart Chimera deck.

Very nice work here, I love the card it got put onto as well. One thing bugs me about the art though: the red coloration on it's left wing seems really flat. Almost like you just blobbed it on there and forgot to texture; especially when you look at the dry leathery skin on the flank, there is a start contrast in the detailing. Overall still a great piece, and an art I'll probably be seeing and enjoying for quite a while in casual/standard magic decks though so, Viva la Tarmo-goat!

In traditional mythology, yes, a chimera is prominently made up of three species, that of the lion, the snake, and the goat. However, in modern day high fantasy, the chimera is known simply as a collaboration of various animals fused into one, thus it does not require any of the original three to be considered a chimera at all.
