Description This happened so often in my house growing up that before long we had a rule where milk was to be used almost exclusively just for cereal...but then we just started running out of cereal faster. Dad was so peeved.Ā

Good times

I like that Dave has a five o'clock shadow ! Plus what he's saying, juxtaposed with the fact that his origin is a cartoon intended for children, is priceless!

Let's face it: I just cannot get enough of your Arthur artwork. It's too good! I'm always looking for more (but don't feel pushed or pressured, it's just that your Arthur artwork is one of the very bests I've seen and, I wanna say "As MC Hammer's song goes: 'It's Too Legit to Quit!'")

Sometimes I think your Arthur artwork is better than mine.

That's funny, my family's problem was making sure we finished the milk before it went bad. Though I really couldn't have milk since I was lactose sensitive, so it was mostly used for cereal and cooking.

In my house there were four kids, three teenage boys and a little girl (me). One could eat several boxes of cereal in one sitting and I had to hide the Golden Grams if I ever wanted any.

My sibs were/are crazy about Golden Grahams too I could never really get a taste for them, though

What is it about Golden Grams? I remember a commercial for them where parents pick their college kid up for a visit and he talks about how much he misses Golden Grams and when he mentions he could eat a whole box, the parents abandon him.Ā

In my current house, milk lasting isn't helped by the fact that both my parents work at schools so they bring home lots of leftovers from events, which then necessitate milk to be drunk. My brother and his girlfriend constantly drink milk (him from the jug directly) and my dad also brings home stuff he finds on markdown at the grocery store. Right now we just had two birthdays (same day) so there's cake. Cake requires milk.
